Lone Hartung Nielsen, Director

Lone Hartung Nielsen was formerly Director of Sales and Marketing at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO). Lone holds a degree in chemical engineering and started her career at the DKPTO as a patent examiner but later took over the sales and marketing of the Office. She has steered the DKPTO’s sales and marketing of business services to international customers since its inception.

Grétar Ingi Grétarsson, Vice-Director

Grétar Ingi Grétarsson holds a law degree and an LL.M. degree in intellectual property law. He has worked as a legal advisor and as Head of Operations and Finance at the Icelandic Patent Office, as in-house legal counsel at one of Iceland’s largest construction companies and as an IP attorney. In his position at the Icelandic Patent Office he was highly involved in the establishment of the Nordic Patent Institute.
